Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including general, abdomen, pelvis, OB/GYN, and fertility studies
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while following established protocols
- Accurately document examination findings and maintain appropriate patient records
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, privacy, and dignity throughout examinations
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Follow infection control, safety, and clinical standards
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment appropriately
- Support efficient clinic workflow and timely patient care
Requirements
- Active registration with CMRITO and/or Sonography Canada, or eligibility for registration
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Strong experience in general ultrasound
- Experience with fertility, OB/GYN, abdominal, and pelvic studies is preferred
- Excellent patient-care and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to image quality
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team
