Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join a private clinic in Whitby. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality diagnostic mammography services and ensuring an exceptional patient experience in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
- Ensure accurate patient positioning for optimal image quality
- Follow all radiation safety standards and clinical protocols
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment as required
- Educate patients about procedures and address concerns to ensure comfort
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals
- Uphold patient confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized Medical Radiation Technology program
- Current registration with CMRITO
- Experience in mammography procedures
- Proficiency in mammography equipment operation
- Strong understanding of breast anatomy and pathology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality imaging
